I am still active in the Houston area for band clinics, master classes, judging, arranging and drill writing, etc. Gives me a reason to brush off the sawdust and make some music! Drop me a note on the contact page and I'll get back to you. And hey - wouldn't you feel better if your garden gnome had a little house to protect him from the weather?

This watch box in cherry and maple was a commission. It was a quick turnaround, so I didn't have time to let the cherry darken any before delivery. It will get much prettier!
Picture
It holds six watches in a removable tray with space underneath for batteries, band links, or another watch or two.

New 'stacking box' in cherry and pecan! 6"x6"x8" high with cherry miter keys. SOLD!
Picture
Each section is about 4" tall with lift out pecan tops. The interiors are just open. Over time the cherry will darken to create more contrast with the pecan.
Picture
Stacking jewelry box in walnut and maple with a red fabric liner. The whole thing is 9"x9"x6". SOLD at the Nov2020 First Saturday Arts Market!
Picture
The base of the top box fits into the recessed walls of the lower box and above the lower box lid.
Picture
A hinged lid box in cherry. the joinery is handcut dovetails, and actually there is a sliding catch on it as well (I'll update the picture). It is about 6.75" wide, 4" deep, and 6" tall.
Picture
Cherry pepper mill. 10" tall.
Picture
A little guy in cherry! The lid panel and keys are cherry too - just different board and level of oxidation. They will catch up over time. 4"x4"x4" with a lift off top.
Picture
It has a small maple tray with a cherry pull. Really like how the little tray worked out (which was the impetus for the piece to start).
Picture
The top box has smaller compartments in maple. The dividers in both boxes are pressfit, so they could be taken out. SOLD!
Picture
The bottom box has larger compartments. Both boxes have plenty of room above the dividers as well.
Picture
It is already darker than this as it has been doing its cherry thing in the light. There is some beautiful figure in this cherry.
Picture
Two lift lid boxes, both 6"x6"x4". Ash, one with a cherry top and bottom and one with a mahogany lid and ash bottom. Corner keys match the tops.
Picture
First of the 'Pablo' series serving boards! 16"x13"x7/8" in walnut, cherry, makore, and maple. Looking forward to more of these!
Picture
A small three drawer chest in cherry and ash. About 10"x6"x6" with handcut dovetails. UPDATE - Wow, the cherry is much darker now! SOLD!
Picture
Cherry and maple jewelry box. 12"x10"x3.5" with a sliding tray.
Picture
This shot from the shop shows the grain of the jewelry box better. Maple top panel and corner keys as well as the interior tray and dividers.
Picture
'Stacking Box' - just couldn't bring myself to call it a 'piggy back box' - Walnut with accents of jicarillo (as far as I can tell). SOLD!
Picture
I've had the jicarillo in the shop for a long time - gorgeous piece that I picked up at the woodworking store and just hadn't found an opportunity to use it. Only used a 1/8" veneer from it, so I still have some!
Picture
Picture
There are several details incorporated in the chest. The back (not shown) is frame and panel - also cherry and ash - and the little feature on the top drawer front is hand carved and painted with copper.
Picture
The interior of the cherry and maple jewelry box. The bottom of the maple tray is milk painted birch.
Picture
The bottom is lined with a gold fabric, and has another jicarillo accent piece.
Picture
The bottom box is 7.5" x 7.5" x 4.5". The smaller box fits into the lid of the larger box, and is 3.5" x 3.5" x 3".
Picture
Two jewelry boxes in walnut and maple with red/maroon fabric lining. The upper tray slides and lifts out to access the bottom. SOLD!
Picture
Both boxes are walnut with maple lid panels. The one on the right has more pronounced grain.
Picture
Mahogany box. 11.5" x 6" x 5". Mitered corners are splined with mahogany inserts. Beautiful color throughout! SOLD!
Picture
Serving tray with dipping bowl. Mahogany with milk paint inset, pottery bowl. 24" X 5". SOLD!
Picture
One of the first boxes I made, and I think the first with corner keys. I can spot some 'character' spots (that's what woodworkers call mess-ups...), but it is a nice little box. Cherry, with walnut and padouk corner keys.
Picture
More boards. Ash, white oak, and cherry. Ranging from about 7"-10" x 10"-14". 5/8" thick. Food safe finish.
Picture
I have a number of 'tea light' holders. Some with votive glass and some without. The two pictured are quarter sawn white oak and cherry with a front edge of sapwood. Both have walnut bases.
Picture
Five magnetic bottle top catchers. The three darker ones are claro walnut (amazing grain patterns!). The lighter one on the left is red oak. The one on the right is ash. They will catch a large number of Dr. Pepper caps (or similar bottle caps of your choosing...).
Picture
Another in the "Dipping Bowl" series. Walnut with salmon inset and bowl. Beautiful piece of walnut! SOLD!
Picture
Wine presentation box "fully loaded." Cherry with walnut lid panel and corner keys. Wine not included...
Picture
Picture
Bottle stoppers in a variety of woods. Useful for wine bottles or Dr. Pepper bottles. Some with cork and some with the pictured rubber stoppers.
Picture
Mesquite flag case. Special project for a flag from the Texas State Cemetery.
